New clients to Alchemy Salon
Please read through the information below to ensure your first time visiting Alchemy is a simple and seamless experience.
Colour Consultations
If you are a new colour client to Alchemy we ask that you please book in for a consultation with one of our stylists before booking any colour services. To give you the best possible service and to make sure we give you the hair of your dreams we need to see your hair in person. During this appointment we can also provide you with a service timing estimate and quote. We do not do colour consultations and colour services on the same day.
New Client Haircut
If this is your first haircut at Alchemy we ask that you please book in for a New Client Restyle Haircut. There are two options to choose from straight/wavy or curly/coily. Please choose the option that represents how you wear your hair most of the time.
This 90 minute service not only allows time for your restyle haircut but for a consultation, hair analysis, product prescription + application walk through. We find this crucial to your first appointment!
Security Deposits
Deposits are required for all bookings at Alchemy Salon. When you book an appointment with us you will receive a deposit request 7 days before your booking, this confirms and secures your booking with us. If you have not confirmed your appointment at least 48 hours before your appointment time, your appointment will be canceled. Please see our Policies Page for further information around deposits.
Booking the right service for you
If you're unsure on which of our services is right for you we are only a call, email or dm away! We recommend sending us some photos of your hair along with some reference images and we can guide you in the right direction.
Which Alchemist should I choose?
We have a team of seven stylists at Alchemy, all of which are wildly talented in many areas! All our qualified stylists are what we like to call 'Universal Hairdressing Specialists' meaning they can all perform any service on our menu. However we do have areas we specialise in so please head to our 'Meet The Team' page for more info on our team members and choose the Alchemist you think best fits you!
Green Fee & Card Fee
A Green Fee of $3 will be charged for each visit. As a member of Sustainable Salons, the green fee will go towards the responsible recycling and disposal of salon waste. All card payments will receive at 1.54% transaction fee. This is to help us cover the fee of using the card terminal. To avoid this you are welcome to pay with cash!
